ca. 31 x 32,5 cm
White silk gauze (sha), embroidered with colored silk in counted stitches and appliqué technique for the outlines. The pair of rank insignia with silver pheasant symbolizing the fifth civil court rank was completed but never used. The bird stands on a rock in waves, surrounded by the Eight Buddhist Precious, of which he holds the canopy in his beak. Between the clouds five bats. The background is filled by a dense swastika grid, the frame with bats and Shou medallions. Attached is a paper with an inscription.
